join the Hot Flashes MS Walk team in the fight against multiple
sclerosis - in our 25th year!!
For those who have not done MS Walks before,
they are fundraisers for the National Multiple Sclerosis
Society and are held each year in the spring. The primary goal of the MS Walks is to raise money
for research, treatment, and support services to help people with
multiple sclerosis. However, the fun that you have doing the
walk and socializing with your teammates, and any premiums that you
earn based on the amount of money you raise, are definite bonuses. The Hot Flashes team has
been participating in the MS Walks every
year since 2000 (see Team
History) - this is our 25th year!! We
are proud of the fact that the team has raised a cumulative total of over $750,000 so far. Much progress has been made
in the battle against multiple sclerosis, but much more remains to be
done.
The
2024 MS Walks have now taken place, and the Hot Flashes team
participated in two of them (Westchester and Rockland). However, the
MS Society gives us a few months after the MS Walks themselves to
get more sponsors and raise additional money to fight MS. PleaseSponsor me with a donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society before the end of September.
Since this year's MS Walks have already taken place, I can't ask you to
join the team for a 2024 MS Walk. But I am already recruiting for
2025! If you would be interested in joining us next year, pleaseE-mail meand
send me your name and e-mail address. Then, when the dates for the 2025
MS Walks have been set, I'll e-mail you and give you the dates and
information about how to sign up. I look forward to hearing from you.
